The winter months have been cold, but productive.  My mind is in overdrive as we anticipate our first upcoming Lavender Festival.  Many things won't be as I envisioned them, but my tendency is to think I can do it all and in no time! I have grand plans for our beautiful old barns and the surrounding grounds. I look forward to sharing that vision as it unfolds.
Building the webstore has been priority one...and hallelujah it is up and running as of today...2/7/2009. What a learning process this has been!  Labeling is being fine tuned, changing from my very basic Farmers Market Labels (which is how things are currently packaged) to a much more complete label, without losing their identity or character.....regulations to be met!
Now I can concentrate on product development a bit more before the planting season is upon us. We hope to double our crop this Spring, we currently have approximately 400 plants in the ground.  The planting process will probably be in full swing during our Festival......
